Blue, Brown and Everything Beautiful

This is one of my favorite repeating families! We spent a morning taking some shots for their Christmas card, and I love all of them. Here's a couple of my favorites:

What a great afternoon!

This family was so easy to shoot... probably because they were so relaxed and probably because they were so beautiful! I loved the colors that they were wearing and especially loved their backyard and secret door to a fabulous old farmhouse and gardens. It made my job 100% times easier! Here are some sneak peeks:

Growing up

I almost had tears in my eyes editing these photos, because I took little M when he was just a couple of weeks old, and now he's so big! Remember him?

Well... now here he is:

I just can't stand it!

I just can't stand how cute this family is. There is just something about them that I can't put my finger on. I had a blast taking their photos especially because they were so relaxed... and fun! And, of course their girls are just about the most adorable things I've seen in a while!

I LOVE how this photo turned out. The purple was perfect and so was her expression!

This is one of my other favorites- a totally different color scheme, but so beautiful.

This slide was so great- kids have to go up a flight of stairs to go down it-- and it is quite the attraction in the neighborhood. This is right after they slid down it...

Fun by the Lake!

A few weeks ago, I met this family by a local lake and we had so much fun! You could tell that this family really loved eachother, so it was a joy to capture them. We played on the beach, threw pebbles in the water, played airplanes, watched tractors, watched the ducks.... a perfect day for a little 2 year old!!


We caught this moment in between watching the tractor that was of course the attraction for the day!

Throwing rocks in the lake is always so fun to do.... next lesson we'll try to skip them!

A Picturesque Vineyard

After scheduling around the rain, I was able to spend time with this cute family at the most gorgeous vineyard. We played with bubbles, picked grapes, walked around the grounds... it was a great morning!

This little guy loved his bubbles. I think it is just adorable that he is holding the wand upside down!!
